Physician Communication

Communications with your referring physician is an integral part of your recovery. An initial evlauation of the physical therapist’s findings will be communicated to your referring physician. Any changes and progress will be communicated depending on your length of physical therapy treatments. If at all possible we like you to hand carry a progress report for your follow-up visit with your physician. At time of discharge we will forward a letter telling of your progress and status to your referring physician.

Follow-up and Customer service is an important part of our mission at PARKER PHYSICAL THERAPY. We have an exit survey for you to fill out and let us know how we did. We wish to maintain the highest caliber of physical therapy care for our patients. We think of you as an extended family and will sometimes call to check on you as a follow-up after discharge. Feel free to contact us at any time with questions or if you need to have your exercise regime tweaked. Your satisfaction is key.

Attendance and Compliance

It is important for you to realize that active participation in your health care rehabilitation experience contributes to good results. One of the most important things you can do is to keep your scheduled appointments to achieve optimal recovery in the fastest possible time. Your physician or therapist determines the frequency of treatment and length of care optimal to your condition. Experience shows us that the patients who cooperate in this way receive the best results. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, reschedule as soon as possible to not interrupt the progress of your treatment. A 24-hour cancellation notice is appreciated.

Dress appropriately. You will need to wear comfortable, gym clothing as appropriate to your treatment plan. We consider it a high compliment that you chose PARKER PHYSICAL THERAPY for your treatment. We realize you have a choice of where you can go and we want to meet your expectations and have you become part of our extended family. When one of our patient’s refers their friends and family members we consider it a high compliment.

Patient Financial Responsibility

Parker Physical Therapy understands what the cost of health care can be. We want all patients to be able to afford their therapy treatments. If you have no insurance coverage we have a special cash-pay rate for the non-insured patient. We do not take Medicaid. If you have healthcare coverage we will contact your provider and discuss your benefits. Co-pays and deductibles are due at time of service. We strive to find a solution to any of your financial concerns.
